Brett Cobb is a professional fundraising consultant who has held senior roles with nonprofit organizations for more than 20 years. Serving most recently at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, the country’s most trusted source for wellness and personal growth, he also held senior capacities with the Empire State Pride Agenda, Museum of Modern Art, New York Philharmonic, New York City Opera, and Florida Grand Opera. In keeping with his passion for the interplay of relationships of all kinds, he is the author of Toward Spirit (2008), has a deep appreciation of yoga and mindfulness, and has particular enthusiasm for meditation and advocacy for greater compassion and self-compassion.  He is a teacher in training of the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion, and is a certified teacher of Compassion Cultivation Training, a program of the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University. Brett lives in St. Petersburg and travels often between Florida and New York.
