Christine Marcella is an Integrative Therapist and holistic healer, specializing in Meditation and Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy. She is a graduate and alumna of the Sri Shambhavananda Ashram at Konalani on the big island of Hawaii.

Christine has more than 35 years of dedicated practice and study which has led her to become an experienced professional with immense desire to continue to integrate the healing methods of yoga, meditation, and mindful compassion, with holistic and allopathic medicine.

Christine is the founder of the San Antonio Texas Yoga Association (SATYA), and Jai Yoga Integrative Therapy, where, after traveling the world sharing the healing benefits of yoga and meditation in military medical environments, she dedicated and focused her energy on helping individuals cope with everything from injury and surgical recovery, TBI and PTSD to sexual trauma, addiction and anxiety disorders.

Christine moved to our nation’s capital in 2016 where she took on the responsibility of successfully opening and operating DC’s original start-up meditation center, RECHARJ across from the White House. She continues to facilitate corporate Mindful Leadership and Communication programs throughout the greater Washington, DC area as well as around the country through her latest endeavor, The Conservancy for Cultural Competence, an initiative dedicated to bridging yoga and mindfulness tools with functional trauma trainings and culturally competent education.
